The Only Place Success Comes Before Work

There is a reason this statement has survived for so long: it exposes one of the most uncomfortable truths about success. Work comes first. We live in a world that loves the finished result. We see the successful business, the healthy bank account, the impressive career, the beautiful home or the person who appears to have everything under control. What we rarely see is what came before it.

The early mornings. The disappointments. The decisions that did not work. The opportunities that were missed. The countless hours spent learning something nobody else could see the value in. Success can look effortless when you only see the destination.
