I'm not against positive thinking. I think it's a wonderful thing. But we've been led to believe that if we simply visualise success, repeat affirmations and think positively enough, money will somehow find its way into our lives.
I don't believe that's how it works. Because here's the problem.
You can spend an hour every morning saying, "I'm wealthy. I'm successful. Money flows to me."
But if, deep down, you believe you're not worthy of success...that wealthy people are somehow different...
...or that money is selfish, difficult or beyond your reach...those hidden beliefs will quietly shape every decision you make.
You'll hesitate when an opportunity appears. You'll undercharge for your work.
You'll avoid taking risks. You'll convince yourself that success belongs to other people.
The positive thoughts are on the surface. The limiting beliefs are underneath.
And underneath always wins.
That's why my philosophy is based on subtraction, not addition. I don't think you need to add more affirmations.
I think you need to remove the beliefs that have been blocking you all your life.
Ask yourself this. Who first taught you about money?
Were you told that rich people were greedy? That money doesn't grow on trees?
That people like us never become wealthy?
If so, perhaps you've been carrying someone else's beliefs for years without even realising it.
Imagine trying to drive with the handbrake on. You can press harder on the accelerator, but you'll never move as freely as you could.
Those limiting beliefs are the handbrake. Remove them, and everything changes.
Not because money magically appears......but because you do.
You think differently. You act differently. You spot opportunities you would have ignored before.
You become the person who creates wealth instead of simply wishing for it.
So this week, don't ask yourself, "How can I attract more money?"
Ask yourself... "What belief about money no longer belongs in my life?"
That single question could be worth more than a thousand affirmations.
If this way of thinking resonates with you, I'd love you to subscribe. Every week we're removing another limiting belief, another piece of unnecessary marble, to reveal the person you were always meant to be.
Because you're not broken. You never were.
I'll see you in the next episode.
